Artist Elizabeth Lyons

Elizabeth Lyons

Elizabeth Lyons is an artist based in Merseyside, North West England. She holds an MA in Fine Art from Manchester School of Art, Manchester Metropolitan University, UK.

Her practice spans multiple mediums, with a particular focus on portraiture and the human figure.

She works with oil & acrylic painting, collage and photography, often drawing inspiration from the Japanese concept of Wabi Sabi, the appreciation of beauty in imperfection and the transience of all things. A visit to Kyoto, Japan, in 2019, to study ikebana further influenced her approach to composition and the exploration of natural forms.
